you can be sure when a card in MTG is named 'rain...' or '....rain' or '..rain..' its not going to be something gentle like lifegain or regeneration. its going to be stone or tears or filth or ...now why is that? a masochistic streak among the playtesters of magic? anyway, don't you think its time for something like 'soft rain?' and it would say something like, "play the game out without anyone dealing damage or losing life. have a nice day." now wouldn't that be special?
