I found a combo for this card, Thousand-Year Elixir will allow you to us his ability as a response to the triggered ability, returning him to your hand. since it will not be on the battlefield at resolution the effect fails. No lands to your hand!!!!

It's not bad for (blue) destroy ability.It got stronger now with the landfall abilities. Kinda makes the return lands a positive rather than a negative.
