not only is it a 5/5 for fly with flying but its pro white and deals damage to each opponent equal to the #of vamps control which is sick b.c the zendikar block has a bunch of cheap sweet vamps in it. this gets pretty mean if u run a sanguine bond with it too

It doesn't need anything to be an answer to Walletslayer. If the Angel attacks, you can block with no consequences. It's great in all Vampire decks, and even in my rogue Mono-black Control deck :P

This card is very good in a vampire deck, it isn't any wonder why most vamp decks run 4 of them. Also they are a good answer to baneslayer especially when equipped with a blade of the bloodchief.

Probably the best high CMC Vampire for Tribal. 4/4, Evasion, Pro from figuratively the best in removal, and a non-targeting life loss/life gain ability which can be used very well in both 1v1 and multiplayer.

Play this with sanguine blood...your opponent just lost 2-4x life...making a cleric deck with sanguine blood,a corrupted cleric "cult" deck
