5 Star EDH, 3 Star anywhere else. BBB to remove 3x from a library is like the B version of Extract, but with an added bonus with the Kicker; granted in casual or tournament you will probably never be able to pay the Kicker.

This kicked or unkicked + pyromancers ascension kicked or unkicked = casual fun and lategame hope crushing. Use grixis colors in a deck with zero creatures

Combine this with Memoricide and you could effectively neuter someone's deck.

Pay the kicker cost late game and you can exile all your opponent's lands. Combine that with mind funeral, and it's over. On second thought, late game, your opponent probably wouldn't have that many lands left, so skip the kicker.

One: The whole combo with Archive Trap, won't work. Your opponent has to search his/her deck, but if you really wanna talk about a rare will combo, first turn drop a plains, path to exile, and four archive traps.
Two: Love this card, it actually makes it viable to face fast-paced Eldrazi. By offering the ability to take them out of the deck before they're a threat, the card just rocks. Needless to say, since you don't have to call out a name or anything, if you really want you can just pick and choose w/e.

Sadistic Sacrament and Rite of Replication to me kind of prove that WoTC cares about older players a little. Unless you have a wicked Mana Generating combo, it would be difficult to cast this early enough for it to matter much. However, there IS Ice Cauldron. Pay 4 this turn, pay 6 next turn, and you don't need to have absurd amounts of mana production to play it.

Swamp, Dark Ritual, Sadistic Sacrament, 4 Archive Traps, go - You've just milled your opponent for 55 cards xD
(i know it's rarely gonna work, but the thought is awesome!)
Sadistic Sacrament is, as mentioned before, great, even without the kicker cost. However when it's kicked, your opponent isn't going to have many threats left to hurt you with :b
