May not seem much at first, but if you effectively back him up with jutsus, he can seriously change the game in your favor. In the hands of a good player, this Deidara can be a vicious sniper.
I used a couple of copies in my earth BR deck to test along with a couple of Detonaning clay, and he's done very well so far. The deck's mass battle reward manipulation and chakra gain compliments him very well. There hasn't really been one game where I did not have him accessible and at least one jutsu for him to use. I say he is worth trying out, pretty much the best Deidara ever released. =)
