Only have experience with Dominion as far as "Deck building" board games go, but have played Magic, Pokemon and dozens of other CCGs. This squarely fits in with Dominion as a deckbuilding strategy game. I loved the flavor and the non-standard options of what is available from "Starbase" to add to your deck makes thinking about how you conduct your turn matter a little bit more. Enjoyed the card interactions (though at this point they are a bit simple and less interactive than Dominion) and really enjoyed the "Explore" deck and battling or diplomacy'ing starships that came up. Fun, great for the Next Gen Star Trek Fans who are gamers.
