Fiona 6" Plush (Shrek 3)

DreamWorks animated feature Shrek was directed by Andrew Adamson and animated by DreamWorks Animation SKG in May 2001. Due to it's hugh sucsess it was the first film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, a category introduced in 2001. On release the film done so well it put DreamWorks into a foothold and a prime competitor in the field of feature film animation, mostly with computer animation. The story strays away from the usual fairy when it comes to the lead hero, the handsome prince is the bad guy in this one. The terrifying ogre becomes the one whom has to rescue the princess in order to keep his swamp and much loved solitude. But the evil prince and Shrek's plans are scrapped when the princess has no interest in him and rather wants to stay with Shrek.
