Super Mario World is a Nintendo developed platform game that was bundled with the Super Nintendo. It is the best selling game for the SNES and one of the most critically acclaimed selling approx. 20 million copies. Similar to other Mario games you play as Mario going on adventures through multiple differing stages to save Princess Toadstool from Bowser, a Gamera like creature that apparently has a vested interest in princess capturing.. maybe he just thinks she is cute like when Biff ties the knit with Loraine in the 2nd Back to the Future again her will...eh nevermind. Super Mario World consists of seven main worlds and two secret worlds. The game has 72 levels spread across a world map, typically you must beat a level before moving to the next in a linear path but sometimes the game diverts from this. Also, you get a few new moves including a spin attack which you also see in Zelda: Link to the Past. |
