Card Trooper - DP03-EN009 - Ultra Rare 1st Edition

actually a semi-limit of trooper would be a bad idea. machine duplication says "up to 2" and since dandylion decks and other decks abuse trooper heavily a semi-limit of this card would lead to a bad format.

Good card, but this card is hardly abusable at 2. It should be semi-limited next format. If there is really a problem with anything, it would have to be Machine Duplication...which was the main reason this card got limited.

Ahhhhh I pulled one of these today and it felt great.

The reason they limit things is to keep the game fair. I could see DAD being on the next limited or even banned list. Yes, this card is extremely awesome, and it ended up restricted because people abused it. That's why most of the cards that are on the restricted list are on it. You just have to adapt and move on.

Every time a card turns out to be really good, it gets limited. The only thing I hate about Yugioh. I mean, a card like Trap Dustshoot will be around a long time before someone realizes it's use, and the second it becomes a staple in decks, they limit it.

Beyond overrated. Yeah, it's 1900, gives you self-mill for recursion, and gives you an extra draw, but it's a mere 400 ATK on your opponent's turn, which means it's extrememly hard to not screw yourself over with this. I've actually won a couple games because me opponent decided to use this.
