Dark Paladin - DPYG-EN016 - Ultra Rare 1st Edition

A classic card reborn in fresh, new artwork. The Effects are just amazing, the first one allows this card to be used for/against dragons, a common type. But it's second effect is what tops it off, being granted the ability to negate any spell. It is definitely an excellent card that deserves a spot in any true, old-school fan's collection.

Dark Paladin is a collectors item, nuff' said

Its an Old school card, don't criticize it. Everyone is using Blackwings and Gladiator Beasts and Lightsworns and Stardust Dragon so much these days, it just takes away from the fun of dueling, now its just a headache.

Dark Paladin isn't that bad, if it was then it wouldn't have been awesome in the first place.

This card came out 6 - 7 years ago, give it some props.

this card is the bomb. I was facing a dragon deck which brought its attack to 9900 because of its awsome ability . I have won all the duels I have been in with this card, and when I got the card it was in great codition! It also looks so cool with the explosion in the background it is the best card in my deck and the best card I own. I got it at a resonable price also!

Dark Paladin has a few things going for it, its a good beat stick, has one great effect and one situational effect. Its a bit more tedious to pull out then most summons, but thats why you need to focus a deck around it. Dark Paladin decks, if built right, are still great in todays meta, as long as you have other tricks up your sleeve to help it out. Many people will point out and say "THERE IS NO REASON TO PLAY THIS WITH EVERYONE PLAYING STARDUST NOW" or stuff along those lines. Just remember, all those extremely powerful synchros and monsters... about 70% of them are dragons. :)

this is a sweet card but way to over priced for an ultra from a duelist pack!

Honestly, If this is the best card you have, thats really sad.
The card's effect is definitely conditional, and would only be truly worth any use when against dragon decks. Other than that, its worthless.
