The Yubel cards are some of the best ever made. You can use all sorts of combos for them. Mystic Tomato to bring it to the field, Foolish Burial to send it to the graveyard or Sangan to place it in your hand. I love to get 3 of the Yubels in my hand, then discard them to summon Montage Dragon. Since the first Yubel is a level 10 monster and the second is 11 and the third is 12, I can get Montage's attack point up to near 10,000.

Lvl 10 and you need the collection of all 3 in your deck to use. Thats enough to make its useless for competitive play but most people dont realize tribute summoning isn't the only way.
Its searchable by sangan and very easy to get out by mystic tomatoes. If its discarded it counts as being destroyed so card destruction with this and you get out your terror incarnate.
if its removed from play while on the field its effect also activates. so dark necrofear remove then use return and when the end phase comes your terror incarnate is summoned. so many easy ways to get this out.
upkeep is bad but theres also lots of ways around that. book of moon, interdimensional transporter, torrential tribute and enemy controller all work
and with a killer effect thats almost as good as thousand eyes restrict this cards my favorite =)

Yeah some people say that Yubel sucks and other things, but let me tell you this the Yubel cards are some very powerful card i run a yubel deck along with a D.A.R deck also but i really do chose to play with yubel deck more its actually fun and cool to play with and also i HAVEN'T LOST A SINGLE DUEL WITH EVEN AT THE SJC i practically beat everyone i versed no kidding, i even took down a D.A.R like what i have because of Dark Armed Dragon he did destroy Yubel but brought out the other forms and with some support cards i took them down especially with Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare i had two on the field which took down 1x Dark Armed Dragon 1x Dark Magician of Chaos total: 5600 because of ultimates special ability and then i finished the duel with my Doom Shaman 5600+2400= 8000 and that was only about 4-5 turns in the duel the best way to have a well and powerful Yubel deck is to have 3x Yubel 2-3x Terrors 2-3x Ultimates this is what i have 3 of each.

First off yubel can be special summoned, secondly the other two can be special summoned by yubel from anywhere including the graveyard, thirdly, this is one of the nastiest foils that I own, and finally, if your opponent propels through all yubels some how then use the recently unbanned monster reborn and restart the process. Using card from the new set like Armageddon knight and dark grepher you can send this quickly to the graveyard and then use all cards like the shallow grave, premature burial, and reborn to get her out, Use three rageki breaks and discard a yubel piece to destroy yubel AND ADVANCE STAGES!

On a side note, I think Yubel is pretty.
As for the actual review, the Yubel cards are crazy strong. This one may have a nasty upkeep but it's nothing that jam breeding machine, torrential tribute, or doom shaman cannot solve. If you combine the yubel cards with cards like "taunt", "staunch defender" and dreamsprite, you could definatley stop your opponent from attacking you. Plus they will think about destroying it with card effects also, since those will help the little demonic princess grow stronger. If possible, I would love to get the entire set of these.

I rated it as a 3. Before I owned one I rated it as a solid 5. It has wonderful effects and such but the problem is with it is the magic cylinder effect only works if it's attacked. All they have to do is put a monster in defense mode and boom useless it seems. I am curious if I am just not understanding it and you can attack and it has the same effect if not you have the ultimate defender and worst attacker? If anyone has the answer I'm really curious, I'd really appreciate an answer or a way to find it. Anyways when I ordered x2 of these and x1 of the next form perfect condition, good job again Troll and Toad. :)

Yubel, in and of itself, is pretty fail. First off, it's got a built in Magical Cylinder effect. That's great, but unless you've got things like Staunch Defender or Shift, or your opponent has Berserk Gorilla, that's not too useful. Second of all, it's got a nasty upkeep; nothing Treeborn Frog can't handle, admittedly... but you can't upgrade her if you let her die by her own effect. That's the bad part.
The good news is, however, that there's some nice combos that you can pull off, to get out Terror Incarnate fast and easily.
Traditional: 3/5. It stops CEM in its tracks, provided you can keep her alive.
Advanced: 1/5. It doesn't really do anything useful here.
Themed: 2/5. It's just a stepping stone to Yubel's more powerful forms.
