I don't give this card a 5 because its not OP nor boast extraordinary stats. For a level 8, its hits about all its quotas in attack, defense, and having an effect.
its effect is want gives it its awesome power over most, as effect copy is as good as having the monster on the field itself. So, that being said, Hundred-Eyes Dragon can run in just about any dark based decks, but not limited to them only. Boasting a large attack, one can tune for him for a quick power house support if needed.
