Gold Series 4: Pyramids Edition Booster Pack [GLD4] (Yugioh)

I actually give this a 5, for a few reasons.

First off, as an Empty Jar Duelist, the Gold Jar makes me QUITE happy. Second, as I also run Naturia Stun but am currently jobless, the Doomcaliber Knight re-print makes me (and my wallet) really happy. The Gold Ryko is also pretty nice, and I also am in love with the re-prints of all the old McDonald's promos, such as Goddess of Whim (building Troll Coin Decks is SO fun with her) and Millennium Shield.

Also, another re-print that I liked a lot was Eradicating Aerosol and Widespread Drought, because until now those cards have only been available in Japan.

I mean, granted, some re-prints REALLY sucked (like Prometheus King of Shadows, who for the second time has been put in a Gold Series for no reason) but come on, complainers!

Almost all of the old hard-to-get secrets (like Recurring Nightmare which used to be 20 bucks, or Magic Formula which used to be 100! Also Radiant Jeral, etc.) and staple (in some decks) commons, like Trade-In, Xing-Zhen-Hu (quite a good card), etc have been printed in this pack!

In conclusion, I give it a 5 due to its sheer fun for collectors, and the pimp-ness of Gold Morphing Jar.

I think this is a great set and with the Mat it more than makes up for the price. Also anyone who is mad about the commons is ridiculous, have you seen the other commons in packs there worse, at least these commons are good.

Most of the commons in this set are awful, but Gold Rares like Obelisk, Doomcaliber Knight, Morphing Jar and Trap Stun are GREAT cards, and i LOVE the mats. So, I'll give this 3 stars, but a Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician reprint would be nice.

I was really excited to see what the full list would be for Gold Series 4 and, man, was I disappointed.
The only cards I see myself getting are maybe a Black Luster Soldier and a Morphing Jar.
The commons are ridiculous. Pendulum Machine? Beastking of the Swamps? Why not King of the Swamp?
I guess I understand Konami's "retro" theme for this Gold Series, but really? There are way better classic cards.
I would've settled for a Dark Magician reprint. Maybe the one with the red art?

Epic Fail Konami! First you take out the Archlord Krystia common in the Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck and now your not even gonna reprint it in Gold Series 4 either? Worst Gold Series ever!

Easily the worst Gold series yet. Commons just revealed and they are all mostly terrible with the exception of Genesis Dragon and Deck Devatstation Virus. The gold rares are sub par with the only big reprint being Doomcalibur Knight. The rest are just meh rarity bumps that most people will just buy the singles of and not waste money on the pack.

I give this set a 1 start only cuz ryko and chaos scorcerer but really konami? the last 6 were just revealed and I'm not buying this set unless I buy singles cuz buying one pack is not worth it unless commons are good. so much for the best gold series konami... FAIL!!!
